Invitation to Farewell Prayer for Amadou Cisse Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Dear University of Chicago Community,

I am writing on behalf of the family representatives of Amadou Cisse to invite and welcome you to attend Salat - ul- Janazah, the Muslim farewell prayer, at 2 p.m. today. A gathering and blessings will be held starting at 1 pm. All are welcome to attend.

Salat - ul- Janazah will take place at BTS-Regan, 851 E. 75th Street (intersection of 75th and S. Drexel).

Buses will be available to and from the prayer service, leaving the Reynolds Club, 1135 East 57th Street, at 12:15 p.m. and returning to campus after the prayer at approximately 2:30 p.m.

Any member of the University community who would like to offer written words of condolence for the family may either send them to the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, 5801 S. Ellis Avenue - Administration Bldg 203, or sign the condolence book that will be available next week in the Reynolds Club. The University will forward all condolences to the family.

The University will also be holding a memorial service during the week of November 26th. Date and time to be announced.
