5:30-7 p.m. - Campus-wide information and support meeting at the Reynolds Club lead by Kim Goff-Crews with participation by Rudy Nimocks, Chief of University Police, Sonya Malunda, Assoc. VP for Community Affairs, Hank Webber, VP for Governmental and Community Affairs, and Scott Duncombe, President of Student Government.
6:00 p.m. - International House Residence Council meeting to provide an opportunity for I-House community, of which Mr. Cessi had been a member, to provide mutual support and leadership in assisting the community in the grief process.
8:00 p.m. - Burton-Judson Courts (undergraduate residence hall located at 60th and Ellis (1005 E. 60th Street). Kim Goff Crews, VPDOS; Sherry Gutman, Dep. Dean for Housing and Dining Services; and Katie Callow-Wright, Assoc. Dean and Director of Undergraduate Student Housing, attended meeting of the Resident Masters (faculty), Resident Heads and Assistant Resident Heads to offer support and guidance, provide information, and to gather information regarding student response.
10:00 p.m. - Burton-Judson Courts House meetings. Each of the 7 Resident Head/ARH staffs held a house meeting to provide support, information and hear concerns from the 313 undergraduate residents of the dorm.
Tuesday, Nov. 20
12:00 p.m. - Law School Auditorium. Community meeting at noon attended my Martina Munsters, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs
1 p.m. - 223 Gordon Center, 927 E. 57th St. Chemistry Department hosts a gathering of friends and colleagues open to any who wish to participate.
3:30 p.m. - Main Quadrangles, (rain location, Kent Hall). Campus-wide student vigil to provide an opportunity to express support for Amadou Cisse’s friends and family. Hosted by Student Government, the Muslim Student Association and African and Caribbean Students Association.
8 p.m.-midnight - House event at New Graduate Residence Hall, 1307 East 60th Street. Informal student discussion and coping session.
Wednesday, Nov. 21
1 p.m.-2:30 p.m. - Farewell prayer for Amadou Cisse at BTS-Regan, 851 E. 75th Street (intersection of 75th and S. Drexel).
Week of Nov. 26: Student Government Security Forums
Mon., Nov. 26 at 5 p.m, GSB 010; for students not residing in University Housing.
Wed., Nov. 28 at 5 p.m., Location TBA; for students residing in University Housing.
The University is planning a campus memorial service for Amadou Cisse. More details will be announced as they become available.
