Lecture to look at race and health on Monday, March 5

WHAT: Panel discussion will be held to discuss the influence of population genetics and neighborhood settings on health.

WHO: Speaking will be Rick Kittles, Associate Professor in Genetic Medicine, University of Chicago and Richard Cooper, Professor in Radiology and Cell Biology, at Loyola University’s Stritch School of Medicine.

WHAT: Monday, March 5, noon-1:30 p.m.

WHERE: Lobby, School of Social Service Administration, University of Chicago, 969 E. 60th St.

The lecture is sponsored by the University of Chicago’s Center for Interdisciplinary Health Disparities Research, the School of Social Service Administration, and the Robert Woods Johnson Foundation, Center for Health and Social Services (CHAS), Chicago Center of Excellence in Health Promotion Economics, and the Institute for Mind and Biology. The event is open to the public.
