The university is accepting a limited number of visiting students and scholars displaced by Hurricane Katrina and the subsequent flooding. Assistance and resources are available on campus for staff, faculty, and students as well as for those directly affected by the hurricane.
For those wanting to help or contribute financially, the University Community Service Center is organizing volunteer opportunies, and the university has set up a matching gift program.
