This site was created to inform members of the University community about news, activities, and services related to the Gulf Coast hurricane. Information about additional relief activities organized by campus organizations and schools may also be available by going directly to their web sites.

The university is accepting a limited number of visiting students and scholars displaced by Hurricane Katrina and the subsequent flooding. Assistance and resources are available on campus for staff, faculty, and students as well as for those directly affected by the hurricane.

For those wanting to help or contribute financially, the University Community Service Center is organizing volunteer opportunies, and the university has set up a matching gift program.
