Last June, WFMT’s Andrew Patner X ’81 interviewed legendary Chicagoan Studs Terkel (Ph.B ’32, J.D. ’34) at an event held at the University of Chicago’s annual alumni weekend.

Patner, host of WFMT’s “Critical Thinking with Andrew Patner”, probed the noted stortyteller, actor, and social historian on a wide-range of subjects. From the origins of his nickname Studs, to his relationship with the University of Chicago, to his pioneering work as an oral historian, it’s a rare glimpse into the life and times of a Chicago legend.
