Sandroff’s Tephilla has German premiere at Berlin Academy of Art’s “m-cluster” electro-acoustic festivalAs part of the “American Season 2004” - accompanying the “Museum of Modern Art in Berlin” exhibition - m-cluster features renowned electro-acoustic performers. Legends of innovative play like Leroy Jenkins (violin), Anne LeBaron (harp) and Alan Silva (keyboard) represent the American Scene’s spectrum of improvisation styles and new playing techniques between the poles of improvised and composed music. Sandroff’s work, Tephilla (“prayer” in Hebrew) has been performed all over the world and recorded by American Clarinet Virtuoso, John Bruce Yeh, Assistant Principal of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (KOCH International Classics) and by French Virtuoso, Alain Damiens, Principal Clarinetist of the Ensemble Intercontemporaign (Virgin Classics). The concert takes place on Saturday, September 5, 2004. 8 p.m. at the Akademie der KŸnste, Studio, Foyer, Clubraum, Hanseatenweg 10, 10557 Berlin.
